I'm in Texas. It's hot. So I'm at the time of year that the AC gets turned on whenever I'm in the truck. Sometimes I turn the lower foot vents on. It doesn't save this however. When I get back in the truck the foot vents are always off. Is this by design? I also notice that if I turn on the back seat vents they too will be off next time I drive the truck.

Also a question about the fan speed. It has low, medium, and high. I always drive with the system in auto. Auto doesn't seem to change the fan speed. It will stay at whatever speed is manually selected be it low, medium, or high. If I adjust the temperature I can feel the fan speed up or slow down, but it will still always say low, medium, or high.

Yes by design. The floor vents for air conditioning default to close when car turned off. Same with rear air vents default to close unless it senses someone is in rear seat of R1T. Prior settings appear to not be saved. Regarding fan speed, I think I recall an update a while back to set fan as to how high is high. I think it was a response of fan to loud.

I find the auto setting to be really aggressive, even after they tuned it. I leave it on LO and adjust the fan speed.
