Don’t think demo/press fleet vehicles count as deliveries. Doubt they’re building new ones to do that work either.

They could always deliver vehicles to employees and use them as demo/press vehicles.

I just saw a white R1S driving through New West here in the lower mainland. I wasn’t quick enough to get a photo, took me a second to realize what I was looking at was real. Hoping this might be a demo vehicle out on a drive, it had some sort of sticker in the rear door window.

They could always deliver vehicles to employees and use them as demo/press vehicles.

Pretty sure that’s at their yaletown offices and those are all company vehicles

since those pictures were posted by a rivian muckity muck

I wonder if they had to upgrade the lift to handle R1 size/weight

Definitely not the service centre, as it had steel truss ceilings. I have seen a few (I assume company test vehicles) R1Ts around, but since their software/programming is here, that's not surprising.
Keeping fingers crossed that the vehicles arrive in a month or so. It'd be great to look at a colour portfolio in person.

Those two pictures I posted are 10000% yaletown. It’s identical to the old mini showroom.

They were posted by someone who is in charge of ”experiences” for rivian, and the next picture they posted is walking around yaletown.

when I bugged an acquaintance who’s a PR person at Rivian about canada…he said they’re working on scheduling now.

Yeah my buddy lives in Yaletown and sees the El Cap Rivian all the time. Kind of annoying as I live a km away from it and not even a glimpse.... Stupid truck. playing hard to get.... for three years.

I got some confirmation yesterday that deliveries are starting in November, however, VERY limited. As in under 10 units.

Not fussed about the number of units. The starting of deliveries is great news! Looking forward to 2023!
