I'm going to assume/hope they will have a cover like the render!

Is it the photo or does the driver door look horribly misaligned/warped ?Clearly Christmas bonuses came in the form of trucks this year…. A quick LinkedIn search will show 60+ trucks were delivered to employees this week (that employees actually posted about, could be more)… few more examples below.
yeah that is pretty bad. That’s bad enough to reject the delivery. No easy fix if that door is that warped. Is it the photo or does the driver door look horribly misaligned/warped ?
If you’re getting it basically free on the condition of providing feedback, like most automakers do with pool/validation cars, rejecting delivery probably isn’t a thing.yeah that is pretty bad. That’s bad enough to reject the delivery. No easy fix if that door is that warped.

But...but...these are final production vehicles being delivered to 'real' customers. /sIf you’re getting it basically free on the condition of providing feedback, like most automakers do with pool/validation cars, rejecting delivery probably isn’t a thing.
You have some valid points. All of these additional employee deliveries reinforce my belief that “real” deliveries have not started. There were two or three before the first investor call, but not much since. I believe those were purely smoke and mirrors to show investors that Rivian was delivering vehicles. Very much like the first two R1S deliveries to RJ and the CFO.
As an investor, I am very disappointed in their games. I want them to be honest. Sure it will hit the stock, but I think investors will be more forgiving during year 1, rather than having the truth come out in 2023 when they are still trying to get through the original backlog.
You have some valid points.
What is the delay now? Why not crank out some vehicles from that pretty factory. The factory is ready. Cmon RJ, build some vehicles...and deliver them!
