In just over 3 years, I just passed 100,000 mi!

They didn't have the specific trailer settings when I started, so I don't know exactly how many of those miles have been towing our horses, but it's at least 3,000.

We live at 6,000 ft elevation, and have taken it up skiing several times, so it his faced high altitude as well as cold and snow.

We live down a dirt road, and I have spent a lot of time helping people find off-grid properties, so this truck has actually been used as a truck.

So general thoughts....

I am amazed at how few issues this truck has had with this many miles. My efficiency has actually improved over the years, not decreased. When I have both horses behind me, I figure I'm around 7,500 or 8,000 lb. Could not even compare how much better this tows than my previous Sierra.

I could not be more impressed with the Rivian service team, both mobile and at the service center.

I have had to do a little bit of suspension work and brakes since I've had it, but that's about it.

I was not prepared for how quickly the tires would run out, but since switching to a Michelin tire that Discount Tire recommended, it has been much better. The Perellis barely got 20,000 mi, the Michelins I'm getting about 30,000 MI.

Interior has held up so well. Still looks the same as it did when I got it. Super impressed with the quality.

I have read so many of the complaints and negative reviews online, and I just don't see it. Other than the tires, literally do not have a single complaint about the truck. That's not true. Android auto would be nice.

I guess now the question just becomes how many miles can I expect to get out of the battery?

For having such high miles, so many of those towing, being at sub-freezing and even Sub-Zero temperatures, and a good deal of time off-road, I was not expecting it to be as good as it's been.

I don't know that I will be able to afford another one if this one dies, since it was so much less expensive at the pre-order, but I have loved everything about it!

Great post. I am almost 2.5 years and 70k+ miles with my R1S. With pre-order pricing, it feels like I got away with a financial crime on a technicality. I got ~30k miles on Pirelli's with my 22"s, but the Michelin Defenders so far seem good for 50k+.

I may be speculating, but I think post 100k, these vehicles will still be very reliable when it comes to motors and battery. I'll budget or plan for $5k-10k in suspension or half shaft repair maybe every 100k miles just in case, but even at that rate, the value is still there. Maintenance otherwise every 100k is less than $1k, not including tires.

I'm 2.5 years in and about to hit 50K, and agree with OP and @1stPlace about pre-order value, and switching from OEM Pirellis to Michelins! I hope I have the budget and patience to keep this truck out of warranty since it has been so satisfying to own thus far.

I am at 72,000 miles and have had only a couple small issues. I have 21 inch Pirellis and got 41,000 out of my first set and am on pace to get more than that on my second set. I am going thru tires faster on my Toyota highlander than on my Rivian. It seems this is not typical, so I am thankful the tires are lasting that well. I will give the Minneapolis service a shout out they took extra time to get the alignment just right when I got new tires.

Awesome to hear!

I’m at about 35k miles. But my suspension and half shafts are acting up again.

Front suspensions were replaced, but my rear isn’t sounding or feeling great. :/.

I’m hoping to get it serviced and also keep my R1T for a long time.

I’m only at 31k on mine but feel exactly the same, very few issues in three years of ownership. Only time I’ve questioned was when the 12v gave up in a Lowes parking lot, but still puts a smile on my face every time I drive her!

I like your elevation info. I am on the east coast so my max is just under 2500 miles but my minimum is 0.

not only do I smile everyday I drive or look at my truck, I love that people still come up to me all the time and ask about it.
Keep on driving!!

That is fabulous! 100,000 miles on a R1T is so impressive in such a short period of time. I wish these stories made it out to all the anti EV Luddites out there spreading nonsense.

For me, in Dec 2025 will be 2 years and I'm sitting at 12,030 miles.

My commute to work is 8 miles 3x a week.

Thank you for posting. It makes me happy to see these high mileage post from happy owners. My other truck (which I kept) has over 320,000 miles and my 2022 R1T currently has 45,000 miles. Each time my other truck turned a mileage milestone like 100K, 200k, and then 300k, I was on a camping or trail riding adventure with my kids. That is the main reason I could not sell it or trade it when I bought the R1T, it is a rolling memory of the time I spent with my kids as they were growing up. Every time I look at my other truck or climb into it the cab it brings back a memory. I will be restoring it with my two boys over the next several years, so the R1T has a lot to live up to in my garage.

I plan on keeping the R1T as long as I can. I also can't express enough how happy I have been with my purchase as well. I know there are several complaints/issues out there, but I have had a great ownership experience and any issues have been minor considering this is a new company, new vehicle, and first generation platform. My truck is on construction sites and undeveloped land several days a week, it sees some trail duty on the weekends, and it still looks as good as the day I bought it and remains a joy to drive daily.

My wife's car is a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Summit Reserve Package) it is super plush and very nice, but somehow we both like to take the R1T. I will admit, the sound of the Hemi in her car is something that brings out my inner caveman and my best Tim the Tool man grunt.

Congrats on the milestone.

Your elevation info is similar to mine. I am in Florida and my lowest is -4 and highest was about 2,200.
