Happy Tuesday everyone! It’s that time again to share another adventure for those who are interested in that sort of thing!
This was my FIRST overnight overlanding trip in my Rivian. My family and I head out to Joshua Tree, but I was able to break off for a solo desert night to Johnson Valley where I link up with a group of Rivian owners for a night off-grid.
It was a crispy 40 degrees at night so with my sleeping bag and electric blanket I was actually plenty warm. I go over usage of running the blanket all night, just one small example of using power through the truck overnight.
It’s been a long time planning out my build to finally start making these trips and eventually with the family in the future. I’m pretty happy how my build has ultimately turned out and can’t wait to start spending more nights outside.
