Hello everyone, Steven here. Some of you may have seen my posts across the forums or heard about our dedication to Pre-Owned Rivians and the Rivian brand.
I’m excited to share that Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles is now an official sponsor here on the Rivian Forums! For those who may not know us, we have one of the largest selections of Pre-Owned Rivians in the country.

A question we get all the time is: why does a Volkswagen dealership in Virginia stock so many Rivians?
The answer is simple. I kept seeing owners share poor buying experiences from all over the country. Rivians being sold by dealerships with little product knowledge, unnecessary fees added on, and overall processes that didn’t reflect the quality of the brand. As a die hard Rivian enthusiast, that didn’t sit right with me, and I wanted to change that.
We’ve been known as one of the area’s leading Pre-Owned EV dealers for years, and I personally was an early EV adopter and currently own 2 R1S's. I’m genuinely passionate about Rivian, and that drove the decision to build one of the largest and most curated Rivian inventories in the country.
While any dealership can buy these vehicles at auction, we approach it differently. I personally handpick every Rivian in our inventory from across the country to ensure we have the best condition, best specs, and widest variety in the market. Currently, we have around 60 Rivians in stock, ranging from 2022 Launch Editions all the way up to a 2026 Quad Max with just a few thousand miles.
To do this right, we formed amazing relationships with our local Rivian Service Centers and built a dedicated Lindsay VW Rivian Certification Program. Our team goes through structured training, hands-on sessions, and multiple certification tests. Only Certified Lindsay VW Rivian Specialists are approved to represent and sell Rivians, so customers are working with people who truly understand the product.
We’re very active in the Rivian community and truly appreciate being part of such a passionate group of owners and enthusiasts.
