Thanks for all the great photos and content everybody! I'm still leaning toward the greens but that Half Moon Gray in the sunlight is really growing on me.

Firstly, this is a really pleasant message board. Thanks everyone for civility and remaining focused on the topics. Good to know we have rational adults remaining in this country.

Secondly, I'm with you. It's a green for me and originally I thought forest but the pics of launch green in real life were great. I don't want to know what my reservation number is because I was so late to this game but suffice to say I have plenty of time to figure out a configuration. As long as Blue Steel lives long enough.

With oil prices spiking I think it's a great time to launch R2. When consumers in the car market see $5, $6, or $7 per gallon gas they think about their options and this will be a legitimate one. Whether or not gas prices remain elevated is anyone's guess but the longer it does the more interest will increase.

And when more consumers experience a non-dealership model and see a business not designed to rob you, I think we may see some real changes to this industry.

Internet says both R1 and R2 have 41.4" of front legroom - could someone that's been inside both compare the fit for the tall?

DeMuro is 6'4" and Marques Brownlee is 6'3"; both have described it as "ample" FWIW.

I sat in the R2 ( front & back) and didn’t notice any space difference compared to the R1.

No it wasn’t connected to any music apps and there was a DJ playing music close by. So that’s a negative on hearing the audio.

I am 6’1” and can confirm that the space is identical to the R1S in the front and back. Had the chance to sit behind my driving position and was surprised at how roomy it is. The cars width is smaller though. Very impressive the packaging that Rivian came up with.

Make a reservation, but it does not seem to be time slot oriented. We had a reservation, but the people behind us did not, and they let them in as well. So reservations don’t technically seem to be necessary.
