Just me again. I have a sub shaped hole in my heart that only s00nish can fill. My R1S is ready to receive the low end goodness it deserves! I’d be happy to preorder if that helps with anything. ❤
I promise to post about it. Should be here 4/20 per manufacturer. I plan on making an install video around the same time. We will probably start the sales while I’m making it.

Bbecker I have a 26 gen 2 QM after our 22 QM w Meridian. I installed the Tub Thumper per video and have a few small but imo huge adjustments. I set the amp at Kicker's manual instructions pretty neutral so as to not over do the bass and emphasize the fuller sound so the gain is at midway. I used the EQ to get it right for my ears.
I did the whole tub in sound dampening adhesive and made sure to leave both the passenger and driver side "orig" speaker outlets OPEN.
I found that most of the bass response and air flow finds its way out those two openings and also all along the back of the rear seat where it joins the backrest.

bottom line...imo it was immediately better than the Meridian and the driver side opening removed the "right side" bias completely.

Watch the video a few times and it only took an hour to route and install it all and then 20 min to put things back together. well worth it. I upgraded the woofer to a JL 8" btw. and i have never needed to adjust the gain etc nor even the remote gain vol since install.

I would though play with adding some insulation to the back of the passenger rear seat as the video notes that will vibrate. i just peeled off the thin strips from the OEM woofer box and reapplied those and it worked . last thing is I kept feeling a buzzing at the driver door panel. turns out a layer of blk elect tape around the indoor flashlight cured that!

good luck - you won't be disappointed...... que up Nils Lofgren Live Drum and Bass Intro and let the neighbors come out to see where the band is ;)

Can anyone confirm that you installed the Kicker 47KEY500.1? I plan on installing mine today and I'm confused about the REM connection and the DC OFFSET button.

If I read the instructions correctly you would only use the REM connection if you had additional amps to to turn on. For a single sub configuration I'm assuming the setup would be:

Nothing hooked up to REM connection
DC OFFSET function button, disabled/OFF position

The auto turn off of the amp would work in this configuration and not drain the 12V battery.

That's correct. Offset off. Make sure high level input is used.

2022 Rivian R1T Launch Edition
Soonish team/ @Sojhinn

I just finished the install on the Topocharge using the Anker Zolo pucks. With my Pixel 10 Pro XL I get 12.2W without the silicone mat, consistent with what I get with a wall brick, but only 6W with the mat. Is this typical or a workaround possible? I have the shims installed as per the video and tried even putting some extra shim underneath without improvement. It's slightly better than the 2-3W I was getting with the Twraps charger (P10ProXL doesn't like Qi1 apparently)

Also, there sides are pretty flush but the front sticks up a bit, the clips are locked in. Is this expected?

I haven't used the zolo pucks extensively. But I told by Anker that they are supposed to be similar to the old Anker pucks that were made out metal. 7 watts through the mat through a phone isn't crazy with a qi2 puck. As the max rate is 15 watts. The only way you're going to get faster speed is with a qi 2.2 puck like the ones we offer or the apple pucks as they cap out around 25 watts and real world is closer to 16-18 watts.

Also depending on how your phone handles battery charge to charging speed... Dropping to 7 watts as you approach 70% isn't crazy either. Best test would be to drop it to 63% again and test further.

For the mat: Give it a a couple of weeks for the mat to heat cycle. That looks like the mat is sticking up due to transport from us or our manufacturer. It should flatten out. If not email us at [email protected]. It could also be you have a special rivian! In which case we also have solutions for that.

Thanks! I did A/B it a few times and consistently swapped between 12W and 6W, the SOC just happened to be where I screenshotted it after letting it sit at 6W for a while hoping it would pop up a bit.

The plastic rim by the clips sticks above the trim a touch, can't wedge it under

Yup that makes sense. Yours looks a little high so I'd argue you have one of the rivian's where the wood is a little closer than I like. You can sand that front edge a bit and it will drop nicely.

Good to know. Wasn't sure if I needed to sand down the black parts or if they were supposed to wedge under and I wasn't forcing them enough.

They should rest on the lower edge of the wood.

Well unfortunately changing pucks didn't help. Bought a different cheap set of Qi2 25W pucks that hit about 18W on a brick but still only around 6-7W in the car with the mat. Bit the bullet and bought the official Google Pixelsnap charger, same performance. It would briefly hit 9W with the silicone mat but then drop back to 7W...

Supposedly Pixel 10 Pro XL is not great at wireless charging anyway...
