When are we going to get YouTube Music natively! I've been patiently waiting for 2 years. With the google maps integration this can't be that difficult. Also please allow for the steering wheel buttons to scroll through Sirius favorites rather than advancing tracks, please and thank you.

I've done that a while ago. Just venting aloud, LOL.

I think the issue is on Google's side. I have dabbled in a bit of software dev. It is possible to create your own apps for Apple music and Spotify, but Google does not allow custom YouTube music apps

I am not a YouTube Music listener, but it's kind of a shame on Google's part. The main reason I first subscribed to Spotify back in 2019 was because Tesla supported it natively. I previously listened to Pandora for 13 years. Have been a Spotify subscriber since and I dropped Pandora due to their lack of support in many vehicles that don't support AA/CP.

Although Google makes one that runs on Android Automotive, which IIRC is what Rivian's UI is built on, so they should be able to port it over pretty easily

I agree it should port across easily, but I think Google has locked it down...

Anyone else as surprised as me when Connect+ trial ended and I know longer had access to Spotify? Seems incredibly cheap for a $100k+ car to require you to pay for Spotify access, especially when I see no value to Connect+ beyond that. Anyone have any luck getting Rivian to comp it and if so how? It's not a crazy monthly fee just the principle of it

You can still use Spotify via your tethered phone if you don't want to pay for connected data services in your vehicle. Might as well call your cell phone provider too and see if they'll comp your monthly phone bill.

Although Rivian vehicles are capable of connecting to cell network, Rivian is not a cell carrier. ATT provides the cell access to Rivians which Connect+ runs on. Although the monthly fee passes through Rivian, ATT gets the $ and is the service provider.
