How to open up the rear seat floor vents?

Night 1: two of the five mousetraps I put in the car had the bait nibbled off them; zero of the five mousetraps sprung. Knowing the mouse/mice were small I was even careful to delicately set them as close to the edge as possible.

Will see if this past evening have any better results.

Also, since that first picture, I’ve not yet been able to park with any of them visible from the vent, save for one. Slow going.

Years ago my wife’s car had mice in it. Put my (admittedly, old) cat in there; she’d been a great mouser in her youth. Came back a couple hours later to find her asleep in a sunbeam on the floor with five baby mice snuggled up against her belly. Very disappointing.

I mean, to be fair... She did manage to draw out the mice - I'd call that at least a partial success!
