What are the last numbers on your VIN after all the zeros? That'll tell you what number your truck was off the assembly line. My Green Machine VIN ends in 573. I think they were still hand tightening bolts at that early phase! There's a couple different things you can learn from that, like the earlier models came with two 12 v batteries.
I use my 12v in the frunk and under the dash all the time. Vin 000043 ;)

43! Wow! That's closest to the original I've heard of. Your R1T will have a dual battery system under the frunk trim - all the earlier models did. Unfortunately, Rivian's OEM lead/acid 12v batteries are notorious for having a short lifespan. The good news is Ohmmu is offering a lithium ion replacement that doesn't look very hard to swap out yourself. https://www.ohmmu.com/product-page/compatible-with-rivian-r1s-r1t-single-or-dual-sodium-12v-battery

So when the time comes to replace your 12v batteries, there's a good option for an upgrade. We're not quite there yet, but we have noticed an increase in vampire drain, so prolly need to swap in the near future.

San Jose SC changed out my 12v batteries under their battery swap campaign last October. 4 years and 72k miles on those batteries with no issues.

Good to hear - that they lasted that long. We're only at 17k, so hopefully some life left in. I don't believe Rivian is still doing the swap. At least El Segundo isn't for out of warranty (3 yrs, 36k) 12v batteries.
