Got my car back yesterday. Didn't expect that before Thanksgiving. They recalibrated and/or adjusted a motor sensor and even followed up today with a call to see if everything was ok. I guess they do jump on drivability issues quicker and seem to do the best they can based on the load. I'm sure...
Yep, they are relying on the service center to essentially do quality control and it's overwhelming them. Everyone is friendly but I'm not sure how they get on the other side of this. I had minor issues at delivery and fixed them myself because it was less headache than this. However a drive...
It's pretty shocking that that can't schedule or estimate anything. That or they are so backlogged, they refuse to be upfront. I dread that I even called them when my rear motor errored out. Should have just kept driving it. It's a huge investment that has broken down brand new. My mistake...
Happened to me yesterday too. Coasted up to a stoplight and it turned green so I accelerated lightly (30mph road). Felt a weird clunk like when a locking dif doesn't engage right. Went into turtle mode and rear motor disabled. Rivian was great about it and sent a rollback an hour later to pick...
The CV shafts seem to click when turning. I'll check loose parts though. Upright ball joint bolts on Toyota's tend to work loose so I'm sensitive on this stuff.
I've had this too. In my case a passenger got out while in drive and I waited, with my seatbelt on, for them to move a car. After about a minute it went to park.
I suggest you read through this.

There is a way to manually disable the parking brake. I've not done it.
"Class leading low vampire drain" is what waysem said. What a complete joke. The new software for the gen1 seems worse to me as well. I unplugged my car at 70% yesterday and this morning it's lost 8 miles of range.
Take a look at car mode screen and see if it is using both motors when you see this effect. If it is only using the front one try either reducing stability control or putting it in sport mode to force it to use the rear. Maybe there is an issue with the rear motor.
I find that driving in the...
Yea no way I'm buying the roof rack and ever putting something up there. I know from decades of loading things on my SUV roofs that it doesn't stand a chance.
