I have a simple solution for all your cold weather Rivian troubles. It will fix every example you've listed. It's so simple. Very simple. You just have to move to California but only the parts near the coast. Like Irvine where the R1T was designed or near me in Sacramento. You will never have to...
Between this and the upcoming port of OpenPilot, it looks like two of Rivian's biggest weaknesses are getting addressed. I'm thrilled since I had given up hope of ever having a decent adas or access to third party apps in my R1T. Don't want to count chickens since neither have shipped but it's...
I have the SL Grappler in the stock size and so far my efficiency has been worse than the OEM Pirellis. A little more hum on the freeway. Good road feel but no increase in efficiency. If anything, they're worse. I'll report my numbers after 1k miles but it's not looking good.
I got in touch with the guy working on this for the Rivian and he's got real chops. He's the one who built the harness and ported OpenPilot to the Model 3. I'm chipping in for development for sure. @CTRedCanyon, thanks for letting us know about this project! I've really missed having a decent...
A sample set of 1000 people is easily enough to get a reasonably accurate picture of how 345 million people feel. You don't need, "all the data." That's the whole point of statistical sampling. Here's a chapter from an introductory textbook on Statistics that uses that specific example to...
Um, ok. Letās take dented during manufacturing (creased door sill caused by the seat install ) off the lousy reliability list and add it to the poor qc list. You got me there. Are the rest ok with you or do you think more of my experiences donāt count? Not sure what point youāre trying to make...
Sure, we could look at the JD Power survey that came to the same conclusion or the hundreds of pages of comments on this forum about Rivian problems. Or, and call me crazy, it's just possible they're right. Do I still like my truck? Yeah! Is it the least reliable vehicle I've ever owned? You...
