I own an El Cap R1T in addition to the new Storm Blue one. I have been looking at both trucks in different lighting. Storm Blue seems like they took the El Cap color and added just a smidge of the color of amazon blue from the Amazon EDV and made it a limited color.
I live in San Antonio also, and I have a 2022 R1T, and just took delivery of our second R1T. I have had to go to Austin twice for the two front suspension issues on our 2022, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the local center opening. Glad you had such a great pro-active experience.
In case anyone was interested in seeing what Storm Blue looks like in Xpel Stealth, here are pics of my R1 when I picked the truck up at Rivian, as it was getting wrapped, and afterwards. It's really weird, I am honestly still deciding and am not 100% sold on the color, but now have it. The...
I just recieved my chargining pad tonight for my Gen 2 R1T. I am really impressed with the fit and finish. I am having a problem with the NFC continually trying to do Apple Pay. Is there a fix to that? Thanks much
You sure could not tell sales are down from the purchase process, unless they are supply constrained. I am in the process of completing a purchase for my second Rivian and sales seems to care less that I make the purchase. They have been totally un-accommodating. I am honestly near the point of...
That is great news, we are supposed to take delivery of our second Rivian on 11/19. I was really hoping for a San Antonio delivery. It is currently listed as Austin. I emailed my guide but got no reply.
This worked for me, but obviously you mileage may vary. I have been having an issue with pretty significant wind noise from driver's window at highway speed most noticeable when going above 60 MPH, and being I am Texas where most highways are 70 mph and above that is a lot of the time. My R1T is...
I just got this issue amazingly fixed by my mobile tech; he did what the service center couldn't in the weeks they had it. I was skeptical that it was going to work, but it is night and day. The tech replaced the triangular window only. Rivian had pervasively replaced the triangular window...
Initially, they had me scheduled to go back to the service center mid-next month, but I discussed it with the Mobile Tech and he is going to come out and look. That's a good thing as the Austin Service Center has lots of traffic and it was hard to get the car up to highway speed because of that...
I love my R1T, which I have had since 01/23, except that, for some reason, there has been an increasing amount of wind noise from the driver's side. It is only noticeable above 50 mph; when you go above 70 mph on the highway (I am in Texas), you can feel a slight breeze like the cracked window...
Mind you I have no stake in this. I have had my R1T and tried multiple other solutions. To me this is hands down the best one if you use MagSafe. It appears OEM, I love not giving up any of the USB ports, as well as the small drawer for sunglasses. I am in a loaner R1T right now and really...
I looked at this closely when I took delivery a year ago and saw that Rivian was supporting garage doors in the 300 MHz range but not in the 200 MHz range yet. I can't recall exactly what my gate is, but it was around 296 MHz. I looked up which transmitter/receiver that Rivian had selected, and...
My vin is in the 7000's; I had the triangular front windows with an improved seal installed, which helped, I am getting persistent wind noise, especially at highway speeds right from the driver-side window, which sounds like it is open. Pushing on the window while driving modulates the noise...
I just ordered the filter from BestEVMod and the same cleaner I know Tesla sprays in for mildew odor.

My Model 3 usually needs the filter to be replaced about once a year or else starts smelling very mildewy. I just spray the...
I love the stowncharge. It should have come from Rivian like that. Nice to have the two USBC ports open. I even got an aftermarket MagSafe case for my son so he can also charge his Android easily.
My own use case for highway assist is not so much at high speeds, where I have a lot less confidence in the system, and margins are less, but instead, I love to use it when in stop-and-go traffic.
