  1. CA insurance renewal skyrocketed

Very nice. In that area, I highly recommend Ohio Pass. There's a beaver pond there, and the short hike to it has some of the biggest Aspens I've ever seen!
  2. CA insurance renewal skyrocketed

Maybe the most splendid part of Colorado. Have you been in the fall?
  3. CA insurance renewal skyrocketed

We used to have Amica for homeowners insurance, but switched away when prices crept up. Never had them for auto, as they were 2x other options. When I shopped around last, they no longer served the Denver area for homeowners. They were very pleasant to deal with for a hail claim though!
  4. Getting ready to drive a Gen 2 Tri - Lease to drive, Lease to buy out, or Buy out right?

You are assuming the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will not be extended, which I would not call a safe assumption at this point.
  5. Getting ready to drive a Gen 2 Tri - Lease to drive, Lease to buy out, or Buy out right?

Per the IRS, interest on home equity loans is not (currently) deductible unless used for that residence...
  6. Wipers going nuts - won't stop

I had exactly this happen to me two days ago. It was snowing, and I had the wipers set to auto. The snow stopped, and the wipers kept going. I turned the wipers off, but they still kept going. I was eventually able to make them stop by scrolling through the different settings and back to off...
  7. Tapping out as well, goodbye Rivian...

This. So much road noise! I had never been in a Wrangler, but recently I got the chance to rent a 4xe. Before that, I was thinking about waiting for a fully electric Wrangler, but my god the road noise! When I was going 65 on the highway, it sounded (and felt) like I was going 95. For my time...
  8. Scheduled my R1T Power Tonneau Cover post delivery install

I took delivery January 2024, without PTC. I called today to see if I could get one retrofitted, and I was told that it won't be available for sale until 2025 :(
  9. 25 days and no payment in sight...

The lease finally showed up in my Chase account today. I was able to schedule my first payment, with a whole week to spare!
  10. 25 days and no payment in sight...

Thanks for the update. That sounds pretty terrible! I just heard this from my guide yesterday: Our Finance Team is working with Chase and is aware of the situation and is currently working on a solution. They are planning to extend the due date by 30 days so that our customers are given extra...
  11. 25 days and no payment in sight...

Just called Rivian Financial Services (Chase) and they have no record of me yet. The lady I spoke with said I should expect something in the mail at some point, and that it should take 2-3 weeks for them to get me in their system. Obviously it's taking longer than that though if some folks...
  12. 25 days and no payment in sight...

Thanks for posting this! I took delivery of a lease on January 3rd. I already have an online account for Chase, but I have not seen anything for the lease show up there yet. I called Rivian last week and they told me to call Chase, which I'm planning to do tomorrow.
