There aren't any recent Rivian reports, but it was working for Rivians back in December and there are recent reports from other types of non-teslas.
I would not...
The even stronger argument is that Rivian used to install 115 rated tires at the factory.
Are modern Rivian's heavier than the earlier ones? I thought over the years Rivian had lost a bit of weight.
If it is unsafe to mount 115 tires on the lighter, more recently built then surely it must have...
I have been in 7 times for 19 "items" but the longest was only a week and most were much shorter. My local service center seems to be pretty good at waiting until they have the parts and the time/space to actually work on it before bringing me in.
Now if you counted the number of days I was...
Different lawyers, slightly different facts, and different clients with different risk tolerance can easily explain two companies making different decisions in similar circumstances.
Also, when Tesla came up with their policy, the federal government was considerably more EV tax credit friendly...
I think they are saying that you have to wait at least 60 days after the initial purchase before you can upgrade.
I suspect this mandatory delay probably came from their lawyers as an attempt to avoid claims that they are defrauding the government with regards to tax credit price caps and...
If the offer is anything close to the purchase price minus "normal" depreciation I can't imagine many people would not view that as an offer you can't refuse.
People who are enjoying the vehicle could use the cash to buy 2-3 more to replace the one they sold back. And possibly even more if...
Since everything causes cancer in California perhaps Rivian thought that there would soon be no one left in California sufficiently healthy to cary a duffle bag.
No. I was not talking about your product. Your product looks fabulous!
I was referring to swampnut saying that there are many good options for changing the phone somewhere other than the center console and spaceball1 posting a link to something that would go on a dashboard air vent.
I guess looking like crap is subjective but clipping a bracket to the air vent and stretching the cord across the cabin to the nearest USB outlet in the 2nd row certainly qualifies as crap to me. It might look ok in a beat up car from the 90's but in a brand new $100,000 vehicle that is not a...
Because no one has come up with anything better.
If you have an idea for how to get a charger mounted in a better location without looking it like crap or permanently damaging anything I am sure you could sell a bunch of them.
Or the pricing before the increase was taking into account how much they expected it to cost business in Canada and they updated the price because they realized it was falling short of the actual cost.
Am I the only one who thinks a 5%-8% markup is quite fair in exchange for:
transporting a vehicle internationally
dealing with another set of regulatory requirements
buffer for fluctuating exchange rates and the hassle of getting the currency exchanged
higher costs of warranty work
I would not...
I am quite confused by the existence of this product.
It is less aesthetically pleasing than the OEM charger.
It looks like it would be even less grippy than the OEM charger so the phone is even less likely to stay put.
No claims of magsafe/QI2 magnetic functionality
Fewer coils/smaller active...
You may want to try running the steering wheel calibration routine. Settings->vehicle ->service
I ran it based on a suggestion I saw here and it more than doubled the range of motion. After running the calibration I was able to position the steering wheel such that nothing is obscured.
6 inches. Nope. I want an 8' bed.
I love the idea of GM's folding midgate trick. I don't know if it is actually practical but the ability to have both an 8ft bed and a 2nd row without making the vehicle absurdly long is very appealing.
I really wish I had a hose spigot in the garage. Washing the car outside is not ideal. In the summer the car dries too fast causing waterspots and in the winter it is too cold. Based on your location, cold probably isn't a problem, but where I live the winters are miserably cold and I would...
EA could resolve this with pricing.
Do per minute billing with the rate based on the max speed the charger is capable of.
Charge $2.91 per minute at the 350kw stall.
Charge $1.25 per minute at the 150kw stall.
If you can max out the 350 kw stall then the cost per kwh is the same on either...
