I haven't received a notice yet, but I find this a little comical. I have had several drivers flashing their high beams at me thinking I have my high beams on. definitely not aimed too low.
I feel the same way as you. I've had my R1S for almost two months now and have yet to see another Ontario plated Rivian. I travel frequently from Niagara through Hamilton, KW, Toronto... but I figure it's just a matter of time and timing.
Unfortunately I'm not on Facebook, so for me, it...
I've been plugged into the Rivian charger since December 31st. I've had no issues whatsoever (cold, performance, etc.). My neighbours might just be a little annoyed by the super bright green charging light in the middle of the night though.
Has anyone had any luck tapping into the iZEV incentive program?

Rivian is not on the list of vehicles eligible for some reason.
I initially...
The charger will come just before delivery, however there are installation manuals available on Rivian's website if you want to download that and give it to your electrician ahead of time. I did that and everything is now in place for when the charger shows up.
Down here in Niagara, I am considering a full ceramic coat. There are a couple places locally that do it. I've just been afraid to ask for a quote at this point.
Haha.. I went by yesterday and took almost all the exact same pictures.
A couple contactors on site yesterday chatting with a few people that were passing by.
I'm not optimistic that it will be completed by the end of October, but certainly deliveries before the end of the year.
I noticed the Events tab a couple weeks ago. It allowed me to enter my Canadian postal code and book a test drive at the Michigan Service Centre. It gave me several dates over the next few weeks, but I couldn't make any of the available dates. It was nice to see it as an option though.
It could have been from BC or the US.
Living in Niagara, I see R1Ts and R1Ss pass through almost every weekend. License plates from Washington, New Jersey, New York, ...
It is a complete tease!
I had a little time in Toronto this afternoon, so I went for a drive by.
It appears not much has happened here in the last several months. There was a few permits posted on the windows (roofing, interior demolition, etc.) that all expired by November 2022. Aside from one lift inside, there...
Email received today:
Hi Christopher,
We’ll be removing the R1T Quad-Motor + Max pack from configurator soon. Once we've removed this specific option combination, we’ll migrate your preorder to our enhanced Dual-Motor + Max pack so you have the battery and drive unit configuration that...
I'm somewhat perturbed by this. I've been a day one reservation holder for the quad-motor max-pack R1T, which I"m now told will be delivered in 2024, yet somehow, after my original reservation, they introduce a dual-motor max-pack that will be available sooner.
I will likely go in the...
From my email:
We plan to share more news on Max pack later this year, including an earlier launch for Dual-Motor + Max pack with deliveries starting in Summer 2023.
That doesn't sound right. My email:
R1T Quad-Motor + Max pack deliveries are now planned to start in 2024.
We plan to share more news on Max pack later this year, including an earlier launch for Dual-Motor + Max pack with deliveries starting in Summer 2023. For the opportunity to take delivery...
For what it's worth, I contacted Rivian last week after receiving the email sent to Canadian customers.
Prior to somewhat finalizing my configuration by October 16th, I enquired as to the expected production start of the max-pack R1Ts in case I wanted to change my mind.
This is their...
