I have done that a few times with no negative impact. Should be fine unless they changed something in the software. Haven't seen anyone else reporting issues. Sounds like you mobile tech is taking the approach that customers shouldn't touch anything on the truck

That is not entirely true. There are methods to replace the 12v without interrupting 12v power. Disconnecting the HV does not require a special reset. Current versions of the software allow resetting 12v errors via the RIDE menu.

My appointment last month was for tire rotation. SC did it for $60. Tires should not need rebalancing after rotation if already balanced.

FWIW, from a chat I had with SC staff last month it looks like they have hired contractors in some locations to do routine (lower skill) jobs like tire rotations and 12v battery swaps.
