It’s pretty frustrating I was never given an answer as to why this happened. I’ve also had an issue with the Barstow RAN but they can’t figure that out either.
I had this issue in Zion. For the first few days was charging fine at Tesla destination chargers and then I couldn’t charge at any level 2 chargers. I COULD charge using the Rivian portable charger. Did you try that? After a couple days everything worked again and I was able to charge normally...
Sorry that you had to go through this. Though annoying, I’m sure it’ll get resolved. The bigger issue is why weren’t these things noticed by Rivian before you picked it up. That’s the most frustrating part of these stories.
Anybody see an increase in their efficiency? My round-trip commute usually eats up at least 10% of my battery, but yesterday it only used seven or 8%. It has been a little bit warmer here in SoCal, but I have never seen that kind of efficiency and I’ve been doing this commute for over a month a...
Personal antectode: I had this for a few months but it’s completely gone after I had my front drive unit replaced for different reasons. Maybe coincidental since it happened in the “cold” months here in OC but it’s completely gone now.
This must be very frustrating. Annoying enough the HVAC doesn’t work, but it not being caught during the inspection process is doubling annoying. At this point they should be catching these things. No excuses.

I’ve consistently seen a discrepancy between how much energy my ChargePoint app says is going into the truck compared with what the Rivian app says. Last night the Rivian app says 82.3 kWh and the ChargePoint app says 85.9. Not a huge deal but am curious about why there would be a discrepancy.
IF you are planning on keeping a car til the wheels fall off, then yes, youll prob end up slightly ahead. Otherwise, if you know what youre doing, you can find great lease deals that don’t break the bank on amazing cars. Until my R1T, I had been leasing since 2014. I didn’t pay for one service...
I don’t get it. Why not make sure the truck is actually ready and take it for a meaningful test drive. It’ll save everyone’s time and it will save them some embarrassment. They’ve done this to me twice and both times I had to keep the truck there so they’d actually fix the problem.
