Because I'm leasing an R1S for two years, I decided to do it now, and not wait for the refresh. I'm coming from an early build 2022 R1T I had purchased (and just sold) and will enjoy the improved build, dual motors and slightly extended range which work well for my needs.
Ugh, sorry! I was able to get a text line at the SC because they reached out to me that way and now have been able to text them to get my questions answered and even had them call me to when I requested it.
I am going through a lease right now. I suggest either calling or using the chat and ask to have a sales person from your local service center call you. I did that and they walked me through everything. It’s frustrating that they are transparent about all the costs until you get farther along...
I am in the process of leasing an R1S and wanted to trade in my R1T and according to my Rivian salesperson they don’t have the capacity to issue you a check for the difference. I was frustrated about this as well. I am ending up selling my R1T to a dealer instead.
Congrats. You're almost there. I wouldn't worry about the VIN. I think the LE LG's started production in a batch. I would be curious as to what the date of manufacturer says on your door sticker.
It went fairly quickly. Two weeks till I was able to pick up the R1T from there. Don't submit your payment in step 7 until you have a confirmed delivery date and it's within a few days of that. Also, make sure to get your insurance lined up. I went through Rivian on that, and it was very easy.
A quick update that I did pick up my R1T yesterday, finally. It's quite a truck. It will take some getting used to, especially a new U/I. I'm coming from a Tesla Model Y. All in all, I like the truck. As many have noted there are a lot software feature improvements needed, but I'm confident...
Tell me more about how you touched up your induction wheels? I have done the same. What kind of marker did you purchase and any specific sand paper? Thanks!
With the Red color and upgraded induction wheels out the door with tax I was right at $70k. The FSD alone has gone up $4k since I purchased it which is crazy.
Unfortunately, Rivian only offered me $60K for my Model Y and Kelly Blue Book says it’s worth between $69K and $73K. It only has 13,000 miles on it so I can’t figure out why their offer is so low. Driveway offered $64,950 but I still think I can get more selling it privately, other then I don’t...
Wow, thanks for the very detailed review! I too am switching from a 2020 Model Y Long Range. I am hesitant to give it up because it was my first EV and I do enjoy driving it, but I can’t justify keeping it (especially since my garage at home only fits one car). I did pay for the FSD on the Tesla...
I understand your concern and got the same answer from my guide. I just got assigned a 33XX VIN R1T on 6/30 and was also wondering how long the truck had been sitting. I do know it “went” in to production over a month ago and got held up on a delay with a bunch of other ones. I still haven’t...
No I was never able to get that information. I will be curious as to how long it takes to actually get it from this point.
No, I never did find out what held up the truck. Interesting enough I have a rather low last 4 of the VIN (3300's), but I've heard different stories on that as to what that...
