I’m starting to lose my patience with the constant unintended side effects from these updates - with no reasonable way to decline updates or rollback method.
The service center said it wasn’t fully seated. I’m not sure that’s entirely accurate because it was level, but if so, something definitely dislodged it. I’d check that it is seated fully.
Low speed (parking lot speeds) is better on this update.
30-40mph is awful now. This car jumps sideways at any minor road undulation, completely unsettling the car. Specific spots even on our drive into the neighborhood exhibit this behavior.
FWIW after the update our garage quick open button was glitching, and not appearing when actually at the house but randomly coming up when away. A reset seems to have resolved that.
This is going to be the ongoing challenge with everyone’s push for OTA updates, especially forced ones.
Either the manufacturer covers anything that happens as a result of a software update even if outside of warranty, or they make it crystal clear it’s not covered, and give an option to...
100% this. We reported this last year and will again this year. It’s not consistent and there have been times where we can’t get it to blow out actual hot air.
I had forgotten about the “enhanced acceleration response” line item this morning, and had a brief thought that our R1S felt like it was a little peppier (ok truthfully I thought “wow this cool air is bangin’ for the turbo” and then I remembered I wasn’t in the Cayman; been driving that one...
Was great to see in person. I said it is a good size for us - my wife and I plus our one 4 year old. Our R1S is great but is certainly some level of overkill.
This seems like something that should be tied to a drive mode by default, and still customizable. Why in the world would someone think to put a giant tactical compass on the screen there?
Gear guard was fine before this update. Now it’s broken and won’t recognize my storage device. No notification other than the tiny camera icon with a line through it.
Why is it always something?
