Are you sure it's your fault. You were in the lane and the truck merged into your lane. I am not sure about your local traffic laws, but seems like the merging truck did not yield for you as you have right of way in your lane.
Unless your traffic laws have definite rules that require you to...
I doubt if Rivian will allow this beyond the development stage. It's a massive liability issue for them. If this becomes available, they will find a way to block it.
Tesla's FSD already is getting a lot of negative attention, and Rivian would not want their brand associated with it.
Edit...
Yes he did. But, I am almost certain they will not hit that price. Considering right now, the cheapest Mach E is 40K and the cheapest Model Y is 45K. I don't see how in two years Rivian will be able to produce a 45K model.
Unless they pull an Elon Musk, where they introduce a short run, small...
We have the same problem here in Canada. Oil provinces (Esp. Alberta) want to protect the industry and keep drilling and exporting without realizing global demand is declining. They even recently took a Protect CO2 Emissions pledge (I swear it's real) as part of a Conservative Party leadership...
The problem was, Rivian shot them selves on their foot, when they decided to wait 3 years to release the R2 and R3. The announcement of the R2 and especially the R3(x) created a lot of buzz and excitement (I didn't think twice about putting down my deposit), and they failed to capitalize on it...
Yeah, I do find their prices too expensive. But they tend to have Black Friday sales.
I have a Samsung Fold and used one of their tablet holders, because they don't have a holder for the unfolded fold either, and it worked pretty well.
But the overall setup was a bit too clunky for my taste...
This news sounds more like which came first, the chicken or the egg.
Either Rivian seeing they can produce cheaper motors decided to walk away from their contract and found excuses or Bosch one of the biggest manufacturing and engineering companies which is older than RJ himself, wasn’t too...
Don't be fooled by these videos and there are plenty of it. They do these videos on empty/traffic free roads. They also do these videos for the sole purpose of a review, so the driver is fully aware of what FSD is doing.
In reality and in real world usage, FSD is pure and absolute horse s***...
Try posting this on the Rivian Owners Canada group on Facebook. You might be able to find some one there, especially from the west coast who may have the adaptor.
In Ontario you have the following CCS1 networks you can access along the highways,
1. ONroute iVY Chargers - These are the chargers along the 400 series highways (Ontario) rest stop stations called ONroute stations. So any time you are on any of the 400 series highways and see a sign for the...
I have given up on the R1. The first gen was outdated two years ago and now, between an underwhelming driving experience and Rivian pretty much end of life’ing it with the Gen2, not a convincing product. And the Gen 2 is ridiculously priced.
Starting at 120k to almost 200K is pretty much...
Rivian has been shafting Canadian since they started selling here.
Don't expect the Gear Shop to open here for a while.
As others mentioned, there are other options, namely Grizzl-E, Autel, Tesla, Pion Power to name a few. If you can wait, when Amazon prime deals are on (should be next month)...
