I used to have two model 3s. One of them degraded 13% after 2 years !!! The other one degraded 5%. Absloutely think there is a buffer. I noticed when we charged to 100%, it takes a while for the miles to go down when you drive.
So I did 70 mph test for 9 miles driving thru the 635 express and got 2.18. All purpose.
However this is my total drive from dest a to b via teslafi which 9 miles of those belong to the 70 mph test

I'm not doing much outside of the norm comparable to other tires that we had before. The grabbers and OEM 21" pirelli. The car is preconditions daily in the morning before work. Maybe the battery is not absolutely optimal but the over all number for 2500 miles is sub par imo
On a diferent note about efficiency. My Goodyear is current at 2500 miles with a dismal 2.05 kwh in all purpose and auto height. I'm leaning more toward something is wrong with my tires since I see others on here reported much better effiency most notable @DayTripping and @B Digs. I'm...
I think it has a lot to do with where you live. Texas and Florida roads will eat up tires more. I went thru 2 sets of tires already and none of them go pass 20K miles (Oem 21" and General grabber) This goodyear probably won't either.
I haven't reset the trip "B" since I resetted it when first installed the GY. For the past 500 miles or so, i would say it is got around max of 2.10 kwh according to our daily Teslafi numbers. Driving always been All Purpose and Auto in Standard height. I tried not to change the height since...
I have about 2200 miles on it and about 2.08. It is slowly going up, but I doubt it would be anywhere close to the grabbers which at 2.32 (Only lasted 18K miles). I'm a little disappointed with the efficiency to be honest.
2.38 is pretty damn good. i wished I could get that. My life time on my Quad R1s (35K miles) is 2.3 and my Dual R1T (11K miles) is 2.26. Both are gen 1.
I think the best equivalent would be the 21". When you switch to gen 2 20" all season, it is the good year AT tires. That tires technically not a true all season tires. It is an AT/AS. So, the predicted miles is off about 5%
