Owned my R1T since May 2022, other than the half shafts clinking noise (which is a free fix, haven’t been able to get it scheduled yet) NO issues!!!
Love my Rivian!!!
On a side note, most of the squawking here seems to come from those who have unrealistic expectations…sometimes it’s...
i especially don’t like being tied to a charger in the middle of the night on roadtrips in areas you’re unfamiliar with…wish the charge point had an eject function (I don’t think it will even go in drive/rev with it plugged in) so you are a sitting duck!
I like raised trucks, but when you have to shove the wheels so far outside the fenders/wheel wells…looks stupid…is stupid, what’s the point a a fender/wheel well? I personally don’t want the shit I drive over all over the side or top of my truck! On a side note, this guy is an idiot…”0-60 in 2...
Ok…I’ll bite! Not sure what your background of car ownership has been or what exactly you define as your ideal driving car, but from the sound of it, maybe you are being a tad bit critical?!
I owned for about 8 yrs a Backdraft Racing Shelby Cobra that weighed about 2300Lbs, had 530 HP and NO...
thanks for the great effort in compiling this data! Just curious…is the 112MPH what most are seeing? Mine has always had a top speed of 115MPH with the exception of conserve mode which has been 112MPH.
UGH!!! Don’t get me started about HOAs….most of which are run by lunatic overreaching, power hungry, egotistic morons…?
Did I mention I don’t like HOAs?
If range is that big an issue, why not just switch between drive modes (all-purpose/conserve) after accelerating from a stop? Also, decrease regen to aid in braking while in conserve mode.
Just sat in the new C8 which also has a video rear view mirror… it’s super nice, but you wouldn’t otherwise be able to see out the back window in that car so it makes sense… In the R1T visibility is super good, so makes no sense really. Plus you have like a 18 inch monitor that does the same thing!
Had these on my 2010 GMC Denali…switched them off most of the time…worked great, just seemed unnecessary, to me at least….
For me, bigger picture is to have an alarm system that actually protected my $80k vehicle!!!
