    Worth Upgrading to Gen 2?

I'd rather spend the $1k for Comm_Ai on my Gen 1. Which I might actually do. Leasing isn't available in my state. I bought my Gen 1 dual performance for $73k, an equal build Gen 2 would be $96k and really the only "upgrade" is the promise of autonomy with a subscription and better cameras...

A night of Lyft driving in Conserve Mode - Stats 🤯

I think Lyft gives EV drivers a discount at EA too.

    2026 Rivian VIN Decoders

Special is Likely things like the Dune addition. Odd they would have still have "launch" but that is probably a placeholder for R2, Unless they are planning a quad launch addition.

    Worth Upgrading to Gen 2?

Nope, it's more of a lateral move than an upgrade. It's not worth the $25-40K penalty

"Rivian Care" extended warranty now being offered

I'll go $6002 Bob ! Looking at ford's EV care pricing as baseline, which doesn't extent or cover the HVB warranty, list price for 8 years is over $7K

"Rivian Care" extended warranty now being offered

I'd be interested in the cost... The battery and powertrain warranty from the factory is pretty good, especially if you don't do high milage.

"Rivian Care" extended warranty now being offered

R2 Maximus drive unit - photo posted by RJ

Cadillac gets close with the CT4v, Ford gets close with the GT Mach-E also. I suspect the $45k model will not have this, but also don't believe that near $45k base model will not come out anytime soon, if at all.

Not that I'll immediately trade my R1S for one of these, I can't wait to test drive one. I'm very interested in the ride quality.

    Anyone reconsidering their R2 reservation?

The lead designer, who i met when the R2/R3x came to Boston, confirmed the removed this feature due to European and Canadian regulations, but who knows until its officially announced

    Anyone reconsidering their R2 reservation?

Because I was able to get an R1S at pre-order voucher pricing, buying an R2 which would likely be a similar price didn't make sense, so I canceled my preorder. Otherwise, I would've 100% kept it. Who knows, lets see what trade value looks like in 18+ months, when R2 is really available and...

Others state they have luck with force stop, clear cache, sign out and/or reset phone. Those didn't work for me, Reinstall fixed.

    Rivian App v3.0 now available

Thanks, The sign out, reboot didn't work on my phone (OnePlus 12) but the updates applied with no reboot or uninstall on my wife's phone (pixel 7a). So it's hit or miss i guess. Now I have 2 OnePlus 12's listed as active keys. I believe I am supposed to delete the one that doesn't have the...
