You do realize a lot of good hard working people are being hurt by this mentality? Elon isn’t getting any of your cents here. They would be going to those who worked hard to make this EV movement even possible. Those who maintain the charging and work to help put food on their tables. Elon...
Cool, I figured that’s what you meant, but How are you so sure it is a software locked Max pack? Of course I’ve seen the rumors but no one has ever confirmed this to my knowledge.
Why are you calling it Large + (plus). Is that a new config? Or an old one? I don’t Mean to be annoying but trying to clarify for the sake of understanding which pack you mean.
I don’t think anyone knows yet if this is a software locked max pack as of yet.
Why is it waking and sleeping at all? I’m interested in what’s happening here. Is it supposed to randomly wake and sleep like that without being prompted?
I don’t want to minimize your problems, but your primary complaint is that the app notified you? That’s it? How about, did they actually fix your problems? If they fixed the issue then I’d be happy. You sound like you want to be coddled through the process with the way it’s simply described as a...
The problem is that this CAN be fixed. Tesla has it figured it out and Rivian likely knows how to do it as well, but it’s probably a cost issue with the 12volt battery they simply can’t find the margin for yet.
It’s still too much. Coming from 2 teslas, I would lose 1 percent per week at most in those cars. Something is still just not right with the power draw when parked. Even in the winter parked at the airport, 1-2 percent PER WEEK.
Still sounds like way too much. They’ve really got to fix this. I assume it still has to do with the extremely small capacity 12volt batteries cycling up and down.
I am a general lurker here as I have an R2 on reserve. Can you guys explain why it requires a tow to replace a 12v battery? Why is this such a complicated process? I have replaced countless 12v batteries in my cars over the last 30 years? Not at all trying offend people, genuinely curious - Are...
There is no beholding to be had. The standard is not Teslas anymore. Yes they control their network, but the rest of the industry needs to consolidate to this and other charging companies will add more NACS chargers too.
