Mine are noisy when cornering over uneven surfaces, but they have been consistent since day 1.
I figured an improved version would be released at some point.
The weight of the speaker is the culprit for me. I stuffed a towel under it and it's gone for now. We'll see if it comes back or not. My fiancé might ask about where her kitchen towel went though.
So back around October I took mine in for all the usual noises from the Rivian suspension. I was told they were all normal with the exception of the jounce lines being retrofitted.
I have a 2024 Gen 1 R1T Dual motor.
The loaner I had made all the same noises, so I kind of gave up on the whole...
The R1 taught them to make vehicles. The R2 is for mass market sale volume. The R1 will continue to be refreshed because it hits a bit different buyer.
I'm not so sure of this. I saw an article that there were protests in China, but no one outside of NYPost is reporting this. That's usually a sign of fake news.
So the American public will be subsiding manufacturing jobs to the tune of $10,000 to $30,000 per vehicle. Fast forward 10 years into automation -- will we still have to subsidize those companies when it's just robots and no humans?
They're simply running out of buyers who can afford a vehicle in the average price range of $85,000 or so.
The R2 is obviously 1000% required for growth. Tesla Model S & X sell so few that they could discontinue both and barely anyone would notice. Too expensive.
Has anyone on a public stage called Trump's attention to this just to see what he says. I mean..... this guy has to know the those vehicles are a massive financial threat to our industry.
Everyone focuses on the security aspect and that alone allows him to wiggle out of acknowledging the real...
I'm already seeing articles calling for the Chinese EV floodgates to open.
I think Rivian would do fine with those companies, but the Chevy and Ford line of EVs would be decimated.
The smart move would be to offer incentives on US made EVs.... oh wait, we had that.
Let em in!
