Sorry that happened to you. I'll start checking my RIDE menu for battery health. It seems that if the battery(ies) are changed prior to the warning, then it can be done by the user/owner. Thanks for the heads up.
I drafted a semi once while crossing Nebraska in the Winter in an ICE vehicle. It was the only way my vehicle would warm up. And the mpg went up accordingly to what you experienced. Almost a free ride.
It would be interesting to see what impact this change has on your efficiency. On a hybrid I own, I changed tires to higher life Michelin but the efficiency dropped about 10% as a result.
I like the previous Rivian font for the speedometer. The new font looks like any other ICE vehicle and the energy gauge reminds me of Kia/Hyundai. Also, not sure the new shading effect for the vehicle icon is an improvement. Still love the T. My 2¢.
The service manager delivered my T back to my house because i had not been told that they were going to keep it several days. The loaner was a PHEV BMW.. I thanked him by giving him a laser engraving of an R1T framed in walnut.
I also left a flawless Toyota truck for an R1T - but I was never excited about driving that truck like I am about the Rivian. Have some patience with the SC. My SC manager in ATL has been exceptional. Hang in there and enjoy the positives.
Update: I had my R1T in the service center. They replaced the bluetooth module in the vehicle. It's been working for 5 days now and then day 6 back to problematic. Wonderful when it works but still not perfect.
