I have never liked to use it in my Gen 1 but the Gen 2 hands free is better and useful... reducing highway driving fatigue. I would subscribe after trial is over.

They just said that they tightened some bolts inside the doors. The rattles in the doors are gone, but now that it’s quiet, I could hear groaning from the suspension. Maybe it’s because my ears are trying to pick up noises now that I hear them. Will have to see.

Yup! I got the same rattles in the driver’s door after 1K miles in my Gen2 R1T. Just got fixed at SC together with other issues. But my PAAK is still not working correctly after 2 service visits. Gen2 has not been without issues.

I bought and installed it on my T as one of the first. Have not had the need to use it yet...just looking pretty and expensive sitting there :champagne:😁

My 2022 R1T Quad wind noise was like that for 2.5 years of ownership. I totally solved it by trading in for the 2025 R1T Tri Max.

So you're having a second ptc replacement after the V1.5 done last year? Presumably that one failed within a year? The V1.5(?) on my Gen 2 Tri-Max sounds real crunchy, I'm wondering how long it's going to last...

This is not true anymore in this day and age of EV's instant torque/instant acceleration. For example, you can buy a Tesla Model 3 Performance with better performance for half the price of a BMW M3 Competition. FWIW, my Gen 2 Tri-Motor Rivian hasn't made any improvement in assembly or vehicle...

Customer support and updates would be much more complex with all the bells and whistles you're trying to add.

I get it, but you might be surprised how many of us just want simple CarPlay so we can run simple apps like Waze on the main screen. Just look at how many different versions of phone mounts there are and you'll understand the needs.

Exactly! I don't care about all those things that's much more than just CarPlay. What you and I want is just simple integrated CarPlay. No Zoom meetings, or Minecraft, or squid Game, or surf the web while I'm in the Rivian. I can do all those things at home.
