I would definitely recommend Interrobang - have had it installed for over a year now and looks OEM and is super simple to install and store, with the optional bag, in your gear tunnel. Also comes in handy when you only want to remove one panel to have something snug back there that is higher...
I'm curious as to how often Gen 2 handles have that squeak issue. I was up in Boston last year and their demo R1S had that issue. Really didn't like the new doors after that. Picking up my wife's R1S this weekend and hoping it doesn't have any major issues and that the door feels slightly better...
I still wave as well - have seen the R1S population grow over the past year here in south NJ, as well as a couple more R1T's, but it's still relatively small (less than 10 "usuals" in my neighborhood). I'd say I get a response about 60 - 70% of the time.
This was one of the things I loved about...
Looking back at this thread and it seems the VIN my wife was just assigned was likely built around June - 46xxx. How concerned should I be? My R1T was built about four months prior to my pickup and has been reliable, but this feels like a long time for the R1S to sit around...
I am worried that we haven't heard enough about their expansion plans in front of R2. Tesla went through similar struggles in the early years, but significantly ramped up service centers in advance of the 3, and then continued to get it to a decent coverage in advance of Y. I was able to get my...
Wow - I had similar issues but only a month delay with getting lease information back. I’m also in NJ and at the time they told me there was a doc NJ required that they didn’t know of at first (took delivery in December as part of the early lease wave). Was super frustrating because I was...
I just got the Interrobang cover a couple of weeks back and it's awesome so far. I didn't order it with the bag at first, but just added it since they came out with a new design that looks similar to Rivian's (with protection for each section of the tonneau) and since I realized I'm going to be...
I hadn't seen confirmation of the door handles being powered elsewhere either, but that would be great if so. Cool tidbit on the Cloud White name!
I'm heading up this Friday to check it out.
I just received my tonneau cover and man, the quality is awesome. Hefty out of the box, but you can immediately tell it's well made. Each piece slides in smoothly and there's a slight metallic chunk as the parts come together that just feels nice.
I ordered in mid-January, with the shipping...
That's horrible - I had heard of a similar issue with Tesla early on. Apparently some of the eco-friendly coatings applied were more attractive to rabbits and other types of animals. I was always afraid after delivery of my 3 since we used to have a huge rabbit population in the area (has since...
Just double checked and my day 2 online reservation for the Model 3 was $1,000. I remember because at the time it felt like a big commitment to make for a car that would be the most expensive vehicle I had ever purchased (at that time). I had returned the night of the reveal from vacation which...
I was hoping for north of 100k, but not bad at all.
It would be interesting to see the breakdown of reservations by current owners and new to Rivian though. I'd hope that the majority are new to Rivian, but also think many current owners, like myself, put in reservations as well.
Model 3 was...
Put in my two during the presentation - one for my wife if she's ready to move on from the Y in a few years and one for myself in case I choose not to purchase the R1T after my lease (which expires at the end of the launch year).
I think Rivian missed an opportunity here to have some merch for...
