I could be mistaken, but I believe in the past people who tried to upgrade the sound system ended up bricking the trucks (both professional installers and home installers). So I wouldn't be confident in being able to upgrade the system in the future. While the premium system isn't amazing (yet)...

Similar situation to yours, ordered Nov 2022, configured in Oct, end of Nov 23 got expected delivery dec 23 jan 24 back to "processing estimate" with shop access as of dec 6. I have a very responsive guide who told me "Your status has changed because you are expected to be matched very soon!"...
