no way would I agree to this. If you're paying cash, title should be in your name. They can be added to the title as a lienholder, same as when you finance a car but if you bought the car, title should be in your name. Otherwise they can say they never heard of you.

Your Tesla MY should have come with a J1772 adapter, ours did. We use it with the Rivian wall charger to charge our MY. Works just fine.
