Ugh, sorry! I was able to get a text line at the SC because they reached out to me that way and now have been able to text them to get my questions answered and even had them call me to when I requested it.
I am going through a lease right now. I suggest either calling or using the chat and ask to have a sales person from your local service center call you. I did that and they walked me through everything. It’s frustrating that they are transparent about all the costs until you get farther along...
Congrats. You're almost there. I wouldn't worry about the VIN. I think the LE LG's started production in a batch. I would be curious as to what the date of manufacturer says on your door sticker.
It went fairly quickly. Two weeks till I was able to pick up the R1T from there. Don't submit your payment in step 7 until you have a confirmed delivery date and it's within a few days of that. Also, make sure to get your insurance lined up. I went through Rivian on that, and it was very easy.
A quick update that I did pick up my R1T yesterday, finally. It's quite a truck. It will take some getting used to, especially a new U/I. I'm coming from a Tesla Model Y. All in all, I like the truck. As many have noted there are a lot software feature improvements needed, but I'm confident...
I understand your concern and got the same answer from my guide. I just got assigned a 33XX VIN R1T on 6/30 and was also wondering how long the truck had been sitting. I do know it “went” in to production over a month ago and got held up on a delay with a bunch of other ones. I still haven’t...
No I was never able to get that information. I will be curious as to how long it takes to actually get it from this point.
No, I never did find out what held up the truck. Interesting enough I have a rather low last 4 of the VIN (3300's), but I've heard different stories on that as to what that...
I will be interested to hear what you find out. I am out of the country on vacation at the moment so I told my Guide I wouldn’t bug him for the time being but he also said my R1T would be here when I got back, hopefully. Seeing so many others getting their vehicles just doesn’t make sense. There...
I'm in the same boat as you. Mine has been in general assembly since 5/10. In my call with my guide late yesterday, he said it should come off the production line in the next few days and be ready to ship. He told me there was a long delay for a bunch of R1T's, something held them up. I'm...
Mine is basically the same. I supposedly have a VIN assigned and a truck in production, but not 100% sure what to believe anymore as it's been 4 weeks since I was given that info. sOOn.
Approximately how long from when it shipped from Normal till it arrives in El Segundo? (Still waiting for mine to ship, although it's supposedly finished production).
If it makes you feel any better I'm in the same boat as you. My vehicle has been in production for almost 3 weeks (what ever that means) and I signed my PBA on 4/22.
I have a similar experience. 4/22/22 call with my Guide and as of last night when I followed up on my order status, I was told, "... your vehicle is still in production. I would imagine it should be nearing its end or maybe had been slowed because of a quality check. I wish I had more visibility...
