  1. Rivian now selling wiper blades

Maybe it’s here already, but I just could not go through five pages of this post. I have always just replaced my blades with inserts, not the whole blade. I hope that that will be an option with Rivian . It’s easy, and is far more eco-friendly and that is the whole point….
  2. Almost passed out from acceleration G force?

Never made me pass out, but I have certainly nauseated many of my family friends and love ones (in the car).
  3. Seat Position Memory not remembering

Same issue, I just toggle drivers. Can’t figure out what makes it decide to work or not. Would love to see a final fix.
  4. Poll: Would you buy your Rivian again?

Voted yes on my November 23 R1S . i’ve only had one minor problem promptly addressed early on. I feel lucky that I got a late model GEN one when a bunch of the kinks were already worked out. Love it size, love it storage. And find it fascinating to drive every day. No 12 V issues but I plug...
  5. R1S Deer Damage Series

I have used National Autobody for years. They do excellent work. You are in good hands.
  6. Honest Feedback on buying 2023 R1T- knowing what you know

23xxx R1S. I had 2 years and six months to read this forum from placing my order to my delivery date. I shared your concerns and reservations. 9k miles so far and 14 months of ownership and I still can't wait to get in and drive each day. Early on one half shaft came out of its motor and it...
  7. Purchasing Used 2023 with Only 140 miles - Bad Idea?

HV Voltage and 12v Voltage are displayed. SOC says N/A
  8. Purchasing Used 2023 with Only 140 miles - Bad Idea?

news to me but I will have to check. 12v was still there last I looked.
  9. Purchasing Used 2023 with Only 140 miles - Bad Idea?

You should definitley check the battery health and soc in the RIDE menu. You can also check the soc of the 12 v battery. I would hope that any dealer would charge a BEV periodically while on the lot. This is virtually my November 23 xxx build and I have been very happy with mine.
  10. 2022 quad - Motors Loud

November 23 vin 23,2xx quad (gen 1.5? as the front subframe is cast). I test drove a 24 trimax and did not find much of a difference in noise (or acceleration).
  11. To FOB, or not to FOB?

I used the fob for the first month or so because I was used to it from my previous ice vehicle. When I realized I didn’t need it . I put it in storage and have not used it . I keep the card in my wallet as a backup, but other than testing it I have never used it. Use the phone all the time...
  12. Gen2 rear headrests - moveable?

Cant wait !! Your skills far exceed mine !!
  13. Gen2 rear headrests - moveable?

Thanks for your design. I love watching what you come up with in printables.
  14. Gen2 rear headrests - moveable?

I can't speak to Gen2, but in Gen1 the second row headrests are not user adjustable when in place. The tool listed below does allow them to be released and pulled up. I assume that gen 2 is the same ? https://www.printables.com/model/904514-rivian-headrest-release-tool
  15. Newbi with a few questions on Charging and NAV

I can't add much more than you have already heard. When planning a long trip I use the onboard nav and Rivian apps as well as ABRP, Tesla website and sometimes Plugshares to cross reference locations, charging options, function and availability. The Tesla website helps me to confirm if the...
  16. Heated Headlight Lenses Patent filed by Rivian

Would be great if the bugs could be worked out and if it does exist one day I hope it can be fitted to early vehicles.
  17. Say hello to "Sarge."

    Viceroy welcomes Sarge
  18. Ideal Gen1 Preowned

I was a late 23 build/delivery. I had one half shaft service issue that was minor and some software bugs--which continue to improve. The car has otherwise been flawless. To me, end 23 may have been the sweet spot where earlier issues were already adressed. While the a/c is noisy at startup...
  19. Rivian reputation, what do non-Rivian drivers think about Rivians?

Pre order, 12k on my trade in, 7.5k tax credit, peanuts for charging (compared to gas), almost no maintainence (I hope). I may not be rich, but I sure don't feel dumb. (as long as Rivian survives.....).
