Got it resolved. Went to Home Depot and picked up a 950EV remote - and it paired on the 1st try with our gen2. Weird that the Genie GU4TG wouldn’t pair with gen2 for us, but no issues with gen1.

Has anyone found a difference between gen1 and gen2 R1’s? I was able to program our gen1 (and loaner) super easy with our genie remote, but have tried 20+ times with our gen2 only getting ‘this step timed out’.

Need to go look at the documents, but it looks like it’s a 10 mile range hit when compared with the UHP 22’s (which I’m assuming are the staggered Michelins). Did they not submit with the standard 22s?

I've found the drain to be very temperate related - around 65-75f it becomes totally negligible with gear guard etc turned off. Whist at 25f it will loose 2-3% a day under the same conditions; ive not yet had the opportunity to test the other end of the extreme (ie over 100f) recently.
