It'll be interesting what options are for 12v replacement when more R1 are out of warranty. The rate these batteries goes bad mean this might need to be something changed annually - on dual 12v battery vehicles that's going to be the cost of 5-10 years of ICE oil changes.

Sorry, yeah my post wasn't clear - I had the warning just after new years and tech came out two weeks later and swapped batteries. So that was 2024 model built in Dec2023 with a 12v that lasted barely a year.

Has anyone vehicle been bricked recently after getting the 12v warning to urgently schedule service? Sounds like Rivian has a whole team of people monitoring 12v batteries, issuing warnings, scheduling appointments. You'd think the software has improvements for this too. I wonder if Rivian is...
