yeah marketing people are dumb. Always wondered why no one made one of these coolers a long time ago, it's not like this tech is new or something. Nice cooler but I'll wait for the knockoffs to start flooding the market I really have no need for a $400 cooler at the moment.
There are a few threads in the tire section that goes over most of the choices, most are going with Michelin Defender LTX tires which I am leaning towards in the next couple months.
No issues with mine even at the end of their useful life (26k miles) as far as handling goes in dry or wet weather the weight of the truck does keep it planted in deep puddles, I'm usually always in AP mode. These are performance biased tires so they are more biased towards dry weather...
Depends on how much you drive daily, I can sometimes go several weeks without charging. Public charging an EV is usually more expensive than gasoline so be ready for sticker shock. I personally would not buy one if I couldn't charge at home.
I never use it in my other car, faster to just park manually than tapping on screen, lining it up exactly the way the computer wants and then still controlling the pedals also the angle it takes while parking is too close for curb rash so rather not take that chance.
You went too far with the pump housing but yes the black and white. I just tapped at connector with gator clips and 12v battery.
Solenoids is same just gator clips to 12v.
I was just doing what was in the manual holding the switch up or down at the first click for 10 seconds. I'll try the ride menu and see if I can run a calibration from there this afternoon.
Anyone have had an issue with the app always showing the windows as open but it is actually closed? I think it started after the last app update. Now that the weather is actually getting hot I like to vent the windows but can't anymore as app thinks they are open. I've tried calibrating all...
Plastic scratches easier than glass so not sure how that will hold up in areas that get rain/snow. Also the short 1 year warranty should tell you all you need to know about longevity. I'll just let my insurance glass coverage handle it if/when needed.
The large part of the puck sits below the plastics but would obviously interfere with some running board supports so their policy is to just say no to everything. The pucks you show are the mobile service pucks for portable jacks the larger ones are for the fixed lifts. I'm assuming some SC...
As I stated the jack pucks they use are huge like 10 inch diameter which will not fit, you are thinking of the tiny after market ones and assuming they use those.
This isn't just a Rivian thing, if your mods are blocking the jacking points why would you expect them to work on things they don't supply and risk damage. The jack pucks Rivian service uses are huge, like dinner plate huge for stability on their lifts that is the reason why they refuse service...
These were never going to survive, I've only had mine on for 7 months now but fully expect these to be toast after next winter. The material and powdercoat is just too thin and easily chips. I only put them on because I got them super cheap off of facebook.
Sounds like someone just has too much time and equipment on their hands. Maybe just set the mode to always pull in outside air or open a window and not worry about it
Mine does it only when the windshield is dirty with things such as pollen, dust or dried condensation marks. I just end up turning automatic wipers off until it actually rains as the dry wipe will cause scratches eventually rather not risk it.
