Yes. The thermal loop for the battery can heat or cool the batteries based on what is needed.
Heating using motor heat to heat the coolant or, cooling using the HVAC system to cool the coolant. I've seen it do both.
May or may not be out of the way depending on how you route yourself but, I've used this station a couple times with great results. Worked well for my family on a road trip having several restaurants and a Polish grocery all within a stone's throw.

Search. Tons of info on this site and others on this topic.
15% drop in efficiency is a good starting point for "cold weather" driving though so, start at 280mi in your case. Cold is relative, you need to be specific with temp ranges to help guesstimate efficiency loss. Starting vehicle temps...
Speak for yourself ;) I'd like to know how my fuel is being used, regardless if I'm driving or not.
We have always had the information needed to know if the charge level will make it to the next charger. Granted it was not super accurate during the initial release but, that was updated &...
Might try a full reset but my guess is the vehicle needs to learn the new efficiency/mileage with your new wheel/tire package. Drive it for a long while and see if that gives it enough data to start making calculations.
Mine did this twice in one drive this past Saturday and, I do not have 2025.14 installed. Seemed like the whole infotainment system was a little laggy for some reason, skipping on BT music feed and choppy screen displays along with the random disengagement of driver+.
Great explanation of the reasoning by zefram47 above.
The Gen 1 Quad is also designed to be connected/disconnected on the fly. Reducing the load on the drivetrain when engaging/disengaging is of course a great practice for keeping things undamaged but, not everyone pressing the conserve button...
I have quite a bit of orange peel in my FG R1T as well. Its not obvious, really only I notice it and honestly, I've forgotten that it exists by this point. The metallic flake really hides it in the sun.

I'm curious to see if SW update 2025.14 "secretly" reverts/revises the efficiency graph back to display more cumulative efficiency numbers. The latest calculation method is very misleading.
With update 2025.1, something changed with how Rivian is calculating efficiency in this graph. Someone mentioned they are only using "drive time" in the graph and not including the energy consumption during "idle time". This sounds plausible but, I have not looked into it past that.
I can...
I've used these for years with little trouble. Not saying its the "best" option but, it will likely work and does not require any drilling or enlarging of the puncture.

Hmmmm, should be perfect charge level and temps to have full regen available. From the moment you put the truck in Drive, to when you start your continual descent, roughly how much of a distance is it?
The storage compartment for the tonneau cover is partially under the "shelf" that sits behind the headrests, between the seat and glass. They likely had the seats backs removed needing access to this area from the inside of the truck.
No need to postpone a reset for fear of losing diagnostic data, it will still be there.
Future tip, if you want to flag an event/time for Rivian service diagnostics, long press the user profile button or hazard button to log it.
Unfortunately rivianromaer is only a very very small sample size of data so (for now), it is not really the best metric to use for fleet software update rollouts.
