A comparison between the Meridian and Rivian systems sounds like a job for Kyle Conner or Branden Flasch. Kyle has inside access so it would probably be easy for him to get a weekend loaner vehicle for the comparison.
I got an email from Brooke on the 17th: "We are in the process of getting you a new case and the rubber cap. "
Then an "order confirmation" email on the 21st for a "Replacement Jack Case & Soft Tip for Handle × 1" but no tracking number as of yet.
I don't think they actually have the...
End of quarter push is for real! In Brooklyn for December they had so many vehicles they had to rent a local parking lot to store the overflow as well.
Elon taught them well ;)
... all god suggestions, and if they fail to alleviate the wobble.. could be somewhat malformed tires right out of the factory. Some have had this issue and gone with aftermarket tires and that completely solved the problem.
Even with a correctly functioning frunk sensor, PAAK disabled and GG turned off... it has been verified that the vehicle sleeps for 3hrs then is awake for 1 full hr then sleeps for another 3 then is awake for 1 full hour... endlessly in a continuing cycle (forever) when not being used. That has...
Agreed on all of that! Now, why has Rivian failed to address this oversight so far?
Since nothing on this vehicle works off simple relays and direct temp sensors (everything goes through a computer) it should be software addressable. This stuff is not baked in the hardware, it's all software...
That's very interesting... going back even a year+ people have reported Shipping Mode does little or nothing to reduce vampire drain. That was one or the earliest experiments performed to cut back on vampire drain.
Perhaps these heaters aren't drawing as much as we suspect? We need to identify...
These issues seem pretty rare at this point, most times the repairs have identified a not fully tightened air line connector into a device or manifold or a crack in a component. It doesn't seem like components are wearing out prematurely.
I think they still need additional vehicles, around here about half or more of our Amazon deliveries are made in unmarked white rental delivery vans. Also, the branded Amazon vans look like they are on their last legs already.
100% verified by many, many owners who all have skin 😁

Lol... a recent post just reminded me.. .the temperamental "re-imagined" HVAC system (that only blows hot air when it's set above 71deg no matter how cold it is outside) was also designed "in house"
It's a known issue... there is some slight variation from vehicle to vehicle, but to get heat the temp usually needs to be set at 72 or higher. It's idiotic especially considering cars have had HVAC since the 1950's and Rivian felt they had to reinvent how it functions for some reason?
Wait...
^ you know... that same theme came to mind. I guess Rivian is counting on complacency as well.
I bet they can save a ton of $$$ by ditching the Pirelli's for some garbage Chinese private label tires too. We already know who they use for the super high quality glass
An analysis has been done months ago by a very tech savvy forum member... basically what he found over a 24hr period with the truck not being used is:
A 3hr period of sleep, followed by a 1hr period in awake mode, followed by another 3hr sleep period followed by another 1 hour awake, repeat...
