So, the spacing is much closer than I thought. Along the center, clearance is no more than .75" between each cross bar and the glass, and is more generally around 0.5". Out toward the edges, 2-3 inches in, there is about 1.5-1.75" of clearance from crossbar to glass. Hope this helps! Cheers, Ron

Following up here to my original post -- I realized the Rivian Tidal app does have some settings around essentially the bit rate, and by default is set pretty high. I knocked it down to 320Kbps without a large loss in quality, and I haven't had any streaming issues since. Cheers, Ron
