I think those of us that put down a $1,000 deposit before the configurator was available are considered PRE-order holders. Those that ordered their vehicle through the online configurator as they put down their deposit are regular reservation holders.

My understanding is that some states that prohibited direct sales granted Tesla a waiver when they were starting out. It only seems fair that they either change the law, or grant Rivian a waiver as well.

I like the way the tailgate opens and the sliding bed section covers the hinge so debris doesn't fall in easily. I do wonder about the bed / roof rack rails and if they will be able to lock so someone doesn't swipe them.

Does the R1T have charging ports on both driver and passenger side of the front?
