  1. R2 Configurator is Live! 🎉 What's your configuration?

Is my math right that a fully optioned Launch edition is only $700 more then a fully optioned Preimium? Assuming stock wheels, black interior, and 2k paint.
  2. Which R2 Color Will You Choose?

Thought this was an interesting response from the Rivian AI regarding the colors, especially the greyscale comment.
  3. How quickly will R2 be built

Has there been any update on the LG factory in Arizona that will be supplying the R2 batteries? Are they planning to be the only supplier or is Rivian using another battery source until the plant is fully up and running?
  4. If the R2 Launch Edition price is $54,999

If the LE is $55k or under I will be estatic. But my gut tells me it will be closer to 60k so that there is room to have the standard AWD around 55k, which is unfortunately the average price of vehicles these days.
  5. Doug DeMuro Can't Stop Praising R2

At some point I would like to imagine they would make a dumbed down version of the R1 to allure more shoppers, but it really depends on the pricing of the R2 and how close they would be. R1 with just dual motor, no air suspension, no brembo brakes, smaller wheel package, etc for like 65k would...
  6. The Rivian R2 Reviews are Here!!! 656 HP, 609 lb-ft

If the Dual/Large is over 55k they aren’t going to sell squat. Without the tax incentives the math just isn’t there for the larger audience of car buyers.
  7. National Parks - those that impressed you unexpectedly

Living in New England, I must say Acadia is just an amazing place to be. Didn’t think much of it until we got there and now I can’t wait to go back. Amazing hiking.
  8. Can we start waving???

I think a ? would be cooler…and at least more original.
  9. R2 Dimensions: Cargo Space & Back Seat Width / Space (Measurements)

The baseline for all SUVs should be if it can fit a sheet of plywood!
  10. Rival spied: 2025 Jeep Recon EV SUV w/ Removable Doors

This is true, but none the less it belongs in 2012 and not 2025 lol
  11. Rival spied: 2025 Jeep Recon EV SUV w/ Removable Doors

Looks like a Ford Escape from 2012. Hard pass.
  12. Guess it was my time...you can't avoid jerks. PDR the way to go?

Last time I checked PDR starts at like $150 for the first ding and maybe $100-125 per ding after. Not really a “volume deal”, and I’m sure each place is different. But I’m talking door dings, not major work that may require half to a full day. And also depends on ease of access to the panel...
  13. Shelton Connecticut Service Center opens next week

Can someone ask if they plan on having demo drives in the future? Would love to stay in state versus driving to NY or MA.
  14. R2 Wish List?

Affordability, like seriously, value and affordability. If the dual motor is 60k it’s not going to sell. That’s my only wish.
