    Sorry to bore you, but this was new and surprising to me. It never happened with any other brand that I owned in the past. I guess this company does not like aftermarket accessories but their own and this is how they fight back at the owners.

    They are EV base boards that mount to the frame but do not cover the lift points at all. The brackets are clear away from the lift points, and I marked the lift points. The same service center has lifted the truck in the past with no problems.

    I was told today at the new Houston Service Center that my aftermarket running boards have to be removed to lift the R1S up on the lift. They claim that it is a safety issue and all aftermarket running boards have to be taken off. Oddly enough, this was not a problem during previous service...
