This whole lottery system of a que that the preorder process has evolved into has really quelled my excitement after almost 4 years of free advertising for Rivian, telling friends, family how great they are just to be treated as though I don't exist.

I ordered 11/2018 as well and just assumed my getting skipped to other, later preorder folks was my config of LE/Elcap/22SB/FE. But your config is exactly what they said would be a priority build. I don't get it but feel the frustration.
Is this not the same expected technology as used on newer Boeing 787 and 777x aircraft? You can be in direct sunlight at altitude and it's more than enough protection from light and heat.
