Never had to to it. I did it once a week or so after installation to see if it would initiate an update. It didn't. I have had the truck for over 18 months but the charger for only 4 months.

I use the 20oz Rambler in the center cup holder and my 36oz Rambler water bottle in my BestEvMod lower center tray cup holder at the same time. Here is a pic of just the lower tray with the 36os rambler. I don't have a pic of the tumbler in the OE holder but this is a pic of the one I have.

My tonneau still works. It is louder now than it was when I first got it though. It used to be more quiet than that new one. As a comparison, here is what mine sounded like opening when somewhat new. Unfortunately, I don't have a video of it closing.

I will likely end up paying. Streaming music by Bluetooth sounds like crap on this system. My 2020 Cummins allows me to tether my phone for music so it is lossless so I did drop their service. It was $199 per year just for remote start and lock/unlock. Another $50 if you wanted the security...

I have had my R1T for 19 months with no issues other than a door adjustment and a quick fix to my 12V plug under the dash. Tonneau even still works. VIN 28xx

I find it strange many complain of the power. Mine is pretty loud and I listen to loud music. Either there are issues with some amplifiers in the speakers or the source input.

I have had no issues pairing mine (Android). It sounds good. I have had it make the random pairing sound when in the dock but it seems to go away when I lock it. I do wish the pairing sound wasn't so damn loud though..

Mine definitely charges in the dock. I have charged both using the dock and using a USB cable.

They changed the way the port closes a couple of updates ago. I used to be able to go out in the morning and remove the cable. It would immediately close. Some people complained it was to fast and it cut their hand. Some also had the outside panel come off because it closed too soon and...

I made a similar setup a few years ago. Mine does two at a time though. Up until I got the R1T I never ran the same tire pressure in all four tires. It also made the storage size a little smaller.
