I'm south of you in sierra madre with the same build but a Dec 2018 preorder. Can't really find a reason why I haven't been contacted yet. I was just assigned a guide, hopefully he contacts me soon.

Yes it's always been there, but first time it shows a guide. Must have been assigned recently.

Just checked my rivian account. And it seems I have a guide assigned to me! On the top right there is a question mark, I clicked it and it gave me my guides name, cell number and email! Does anyone else have this yet? 12/8/2018 preorder

Very possible. Although with the more detailed configuration (tow hooks for all, underbody shield is an option) and the huge new update which seems to be the result of beta testing for months , I am optimistic that they are actually ready to deliver. We'll see....

Beta testing went well it seems. Lots of little issues and complaints. Rivian is fixing everything.

Yes they do, but many would like to hardwire their chargers. Setting up a 220v plug would mean we have to get someone to remove it and hardwire the charger later. Possible but unnecessary.

Yes, it's definitely a very light touch of pearl. I saw many yellows, pinks, too. It would look a little flat under clouds. But I live in SoCal and we hardly have rain.

The launch green I saw at the test drive event had LOTS of pearl in it, glowing in the sunlight. I agree you might not see it too well during cloudy days, but it's there.

Yes it's usually done in the plant's body shop section. Didn't know they had Collison repair equipment and spray booths at the ports. Also don't think the service centers or zen reading rooms have that capability either.
