Curious why a transfer switch would not detect the power out and keep a home powered via solar without the battery. There is more to it since solar does not work without battery during an outage.

Consensus is anyone can do an alignment. I would call around Slidell or you can send to the service center. Someone on the forum posted instructions on alignments.

Fuel efficiency of hybrids are nice but not maintaining an ICE is nicer.

My Gen 1 S was in for an ac issue..I had them fix the speaker rattle..it worked for a few week. I just drive on smoother roads now

My car was in for service. (Sept 2023 delivery) Battery started to precondition to charge for the drive home. 12v, turtle mode, awd warning came up. Left button + hazard reset and warnings are gone. I still put in a service ticket to capture the warning.

I have a backfeed on my panel that I plug an Anker f3800 into and then I plug the Anker into my R1s. I can run my central ac but for efficiency I run a portable ac unit.

I am using an Anker F3800 to backfeed my panel then I use the Rivian to keep the Anker charged.

Sounds like cars are ok. Service building had some damage (would think roll up doors). Still no power in the area. I was a bit surprised due to its proximity to IAH. But then again power restoration in not always logical but I always thank linemen when I see them.
