@zymolysis i think I am resorting to the ODB port as opposed to opening the frunk everyday. The 12v will be the death of me/RIVN. I am chalking up my early adopter pricing to be on the bleeding edge..not the leading edge.

My car is in for service and I have noticed it has been asleep for 20+ hours. Maybe they have found a 12v that keeps this car asleep.

Seems like hvac is a gen 1 issue. Mine just went in for the second time.

@ebellinder2 ac replaced 7/24, drain plug 3/25 and noticed moisture 8/25. However I took the all-weather mat out and put in the chilewich and it is no longer wet. On Saturday, I had a large amount of water drain out so I am not sure if my problem has been alleviated or it is still occurring.

I have had my hvac replaced and the drain plug replaced and now my floorboard is wet again. Luckily I am patient early-adopter

Rivian needs to introduce their extended warranty ASAP.

I have already had the HVAC assembly replaced and they also replaced the drain valve during my annual inspection. We shall see if third time is a charm or this will be an annual repair. Thought I would hold on to this car for 10 years.

Maybe there is a trade in incentive for gen1 owners who have repaired the hvac twice
