Oh man that sucks. I wonder if the badged ones were some sort of seconds? I had some steering wheel shake kick in at about 77mph when I first had the same tires (but non-Costo badged versions) installed, but a subsequent rebalancing solved that problem for me.
What is "C" in charging nomenclature, you ask? Well, I ask. Rather than ask the thread, I asked my handy AI friend. This is what it AI-told me, for those who also are not in the know and don't want to ask:
In electric vehicle (EV) charging nomenclature, "C" refers to the charging speed or...
I plan to chat with Rivian service about it on the app. at some point, but I've been so busy I haven't really had time yet. But it's still not working properly, so I'd at least like to get the complaint in to them so they are tracking how prevalent the bug is and prioritize a fix.
Anyone seeing this issue since the latest OTA update? I've never had any buggy updates in the past, but since this one I've had the car repeatedly forget my seat and steering wheel settings, got a black center screen while driving (once), and now Gear Guard not picking up motion, even though it...
My cost basis is atmospheric given most of my shares were foolishly, in retrospect, purchased at IPO prices. But I didn't put enough money in to really want to bother with averaging that loss down. I've bought a bit more in the low 13s, but at this point with this company I'm in the hold and...
The story about transitioning from a sports car to this adventure vehicle segment was interesting in retrospect. I wonder if the vans were part of that discussion as well? Which got me thinking about the fact that Tesla has tried to influence semi-tractor trailers, without much success (but...
Yep, not apples to apples. But that minor difference isn't one I notice on the mean streets of NW Austin. That said the rain handling is also markedly better, though my Scorpions had 18k miles on them and were getting pretty threadbare, as they do.
Now that it’s been half a year since OP posted I wonder if OP ever tracked him down? Same thing happened to mine but just one panel and I was “only” out of pocket $2500 cash to fix mine. Unlike OP I didn’t get a video so never had the chance to publicly shame my perp.
I had the same problem. It’s definitely another aspect of the poor design of the EQ UI. I would bet that a revised version with more functionality (and improved user experience) is somewhere on their roadmap as well, esp now that they’ve spent capital to improve the sound system so much. Seems...
Since we have been promised casting, I suppose one answer would be every subscription service I currently have that supports casting. I spend a lot of time in parking lots and would have lots of time to take advantage of the screen. Others might not.
But it seems to me that if a company is...
Rivian's not going to care. The person who buys it from them after they resell it might, but probably won't either. But it's not the normal driver that really needs to keep the battery at 100% on the regular.
I pay about $300 a month just for this one car (Rivian - Nationwide). It's ridiculous and the primary reason I've considered in the past whether I can really justify keeping mine for its full lifespan. Otherwise I'm all in.
I've been very pleased with the new A/B switches and ability to tap a preset to move immediately from direct to indirect AC positions. No doubt there's further refinements to be made, but as to that I'm trying to not look too closely at the teeth of the horse I was gifted.
It remains a bit...
Same issue but it was worse at first with my new Michelin 22" Defender LTX M/S2 when I replaced my OE Pirelli 22" scorpion AS's. Would hit right about 77mph. I brought it back for a re-balance yesterday, and this morning didn't detect the increased vibrations I had when I first had them...
