Ability to turn off one-pedal. I have a foot tremor and it gets worse keeping constant pedal pressure. Surely other ailments have similar issues. My wifes XC40 recharge offers it. It should absolutely be an option in the Rivian (and I remind my guide frequently).

Apple Car Play appeared on my wife’s XC40 recharge today. When we bought it last July, it was supposed to be released “by the fall”.

This is crucial to Rivian’s success. Many luxury SUV and pickup truck drivers hesitant to go electric will be more likely to dive in knowing they can have reserved, high-speed charging across the US.

Yeah cable just chilling under my wife’s garden didnt sit well with me. So in my typical extreme fashion I trenched 3 feet deep and ran the UF-B wire in PVC.

Electrical weekend warrior here. Quick wiring question. I have 6/2 AWG direct bury to the Rivian wall charger with 60A double breaker at the service panel. Black goes into L1 and white into L2 with middle ground wire. It seems to work fine. Both white and black were “hot” on voltage tester...

Charged at EA stations up and down the east coast over 30 times with three different EVs and never had a single significant issue. It is kinda expensive, but still cheaper than liquified dinosaurs. Was hoping for free holiday charging this weekend but alas. Happy 4th everyone!

Totally agree. Our Volvo XC40 recharge gets software updates at best 2 months apart. And they are definitely NOT perfect.
